Katie Marie Quilton born 30 November in Nuneaton , Warwickshire [ citation needed ] is an English television presenter and journalist. She is best known for presenting a number of Channel 4 television series, including Food Unwrapped since While at the University of Bristol , she undertook a student equivalent of Morgan Spurlock ‘s Super Size Me , she ate kebabs for one week: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The stunt was picked up by a national paper. Quilton was one of Channel 4’s youngest commissioning editors, a position she held from until She resigned as a commissioning editor in to focus full-time on Food Unwrapped.
The programme returned for a second series, beginning in November She didn’t return for the third series, but instead was replaced by Sophie Morgan. In May of Quilton gave birth to a son. As presenter in the documentary Breastfeeding Uncovered Quilton revealed she was harassed while nursing in public.

TV presenter Kate Quilton has seen at first-hand how what you eat can have both a good and bad impact on your body and health. I was very lucky I saw him and I kind of knew in an instant I was probably going to have his babies. It was pretty appalling but now he eats very well. Kate is hoping to return to TV work after having her baby in April.
In the style of Supersize Me by Morgan Spurlock, she chose to eat just kebabs for a whole week and recorded the results — even though she had been vegetarian. As editor of the student newspaper, she thought it would be a good idea to investigate how a diet of kebabs would affect the body — but none of her team wanted to do it. So, I did the story myself. She went on to work as a journalist for the BBC in Somerset, where many of the stories were around food and farming.
